And I’ve learned that feeling stuck isn’t a sign that you’re failing—it’s a signal that something needs to shift.

Here are three mindset and lifestyle shifts that helped me reconnect to myself. They’re part of the Healthstyle approach I now teach, coach, and live by.

1. Stop outsourcing your joy

Joy doesn’t have to be a reward. It can be part of your daily rhythm.

Try this:
Ask yourself each day—“What would feel joyful for me in this moment?” Then do it, even for five minutes.

2. Stop earning rest

Rest is not for later. It’s for now.

If you’re running on empty, no amount of achievement will refill your soul.
Rest is not weakness—it’s wisdom.

3. Choose alignment over achievement

Success means nothing if it costs you your peace.

Make decisions based on what feels aligned with your values—not just what looks good on your résumé.

Ask:
- Is this for me, or for approval?
- Does this opportunity fit my energy, or just my ambition?
