Hi I’m Dr. Angela Walker


I’m a board-certified OB/GYN, certified Lifestyle Medicine physician, and transformational health coach with more than two decades of experience helping women reclaim their wellness.

But more than that, I’m a wife, mother, daughter, friend, and woman of color who knows what it’s like to feel overwhelmed and disconnected from herself—even while caring for everyone else.

I’ve been there—and I’ve rebuilt my life using the same principles I now teach.

My Journey


After graduating from Texas A&M University and Georgetown University School of Medicine, I completed my OB/GYN training at the University of Texas–Houston. I’ve spent the last 25 years helping women through every stage of life—from adolescence to motherhood to midlife transitions.

Along the way, I discovered that traditional medicine doesn’t always leave room for the full story—your story. That’s why I created my coaching practice and signature Healthstyle framework: to help women go beyond symptom management and build the life and health they truly want.

I’m the co-author of The Game Plan: A Woman’s Guide to Becoming a Doctor and Living a Life in Medicine and co-host of the Boss Leap Podcast, where I amplify stories of bold women making brave career and life changes.

I’ve spoken to audiences of all ages—from adolescent girls through Girlology, to healthcare leaders, to women’s wellness summits. I also contribute to conversations around maternal health, wellness leadership, and culturally responsive care.
